IM 9–12 Math includes Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 is offered in multiple versions: free online, digitally enhanced, and print resources.
Tucson, AZ – July 17, 2019 — Illustrative Mathematics (IM), the author and developer of the highly-rated IM Certified 6–8 Math curriculum and IM Certified professional learning, announced that IM 9–12 Math and aligned professional learning (PL) are available today. Educators can access the curriculum for free or enhanced, digitally or in print, via its certified partners. A demo of the high school curriculum is available here.
The IM Certified high school curriculum was written with the same pedagogy, organization, and structure as the highly rated IM Certified 6–8 Math. Educators can expect the same thoughtful alignment to standards, problem-based approach, and engaging real-world and mathematical examples.
“With IM 9–12 Math, teachers have the tools to guide students toward conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and the ability to apply the mathematics they learn,” notes Bill McCallum, President of Illustrative Mathematics. “It was also very important to us to make sure students are not left behind in their first year of algebra, and so we created a full year of Algebra 1 supports, the first of their kind, that are tightly aligned to the curriculum to help teachers keep students who have unfinished learning engaged with grade-level material.”
